Hello! Welcome to our program portal for Women Speaking Up.

This is a place to discover more about our signature leadership development and visibility mastermind Women Speaking Up (WSU).

You'll get an inside look at the curriculum, including excerpts from some of the lessons, and develop a clear sense of what to expect inside this exclusive visibility container we've created just for you.

Inside Women Speaking Up

The Women Speaking Up curriculum consists of digital resources (programs, tools and short courses), live workshops, and many opportunities to connect with your fellow students.

Once you're enrolled in the program, the first thing we invite you to do is take a visibility assessment.

Even if you've taken our visibility quiz, the assessment inside the program will provide you with a more detailed breakdown of your results and will give you a sense of some of the gaps you may need to address. (We don't want you building your visibility house on poor foundations!).

Then you'll dive into one of the three stages within the curriculum. They are:

Stage 1: Seeing Yourself

Stage 2: Stabilising Your Presence

Stage 3: Becoming the Change

In each stage, there are digital resources and live workshops to benefit from.

The first set of digital resources we encourage you to start with are visibility block clearing classes.

Each class addresses a different issue of visibility and offers a great starting point for clearing some of the internal debris that might be blocking you from moving forward on your visibility journey. See below for an overview of the different classes available.

Step 1: Block clearing classes

Stage 1: Seeing Yourself

Uncover Your Visibility Story is our visibility block clearing masterclass and foundational to the rest of your investigations.

Unpacking the Good Girl will help you release the patriarchal conditioning that keeps you compliant and acquiescent.

Sharing Your Opinion is for times when it feels too confronting to speak up.

Feeling Invisible or Erased is a clearing session to take when you're feeling like no one is hearing or seeing you.

Invisible Mothers is a 7-day short course about the invisibility of motherhood in public life and the effect that has on a woman’s experience of being visible in the world.

Stage 2: Stabilising Your Presence

Seven Blocks to Growing Your Business which takes you through the 7 biggest visibility blocks you can expect to come up against as you build your business.

The Sisterhood Wound examines the wound - created by patriarchy - that pitches women against one another to compete for the attention of the male gaze.

Women’s Wealth is a 7-day investigation into how, as women, we are kept poorer than we might otherwise be through the suppression of our participation in public spaces and the devaluation of our role in private spaces

Stage 3: Becoming the Change

Reclamation: The Power of Witches is specifically for women who draw on traditional knowledge, practices and wisdom to support the lives of other women. This class addresses the specific visibility issues that arise for such women.

Visibility for Introverts explores the visibility blocks that arise for people who identify as introverts and who find visibility overwhelming or exhausting.

Overcoming Doubt and Maintaining Self Belief supports you to overcome the habit of self-doubt which can stop you from taking action on the wisdom shared by your heart and/or intuition.

What you can expect after working through these classes

Each class takes you through a series of clearing exercises which will heal old wounds, release old stories, and connect you to the part of you that's comfortable being authentically visible all the time.

As a result, you'll feel less anxious and constrained when it comes to using your voice. You'll have greater clarity about what's holding you back, and you'll have freed yourself of the limitations of being nice and accommodating in every interaction.

Step 2: The leadership development stream

After working through the block clearing classes, you have the option of focusing on leadership development or business development or both.

We encourage you to interweave your approach so you're simultaneously building your business or organisation and becoming the woman you need to be to run it effectively.

Leadership development

The leadership development programs in stages 1, 2 and 3 are designed to move you through:

  • a focus on self-awareness (understanding your own visibility habits and preferences),
  • to awareness of how societal conditioning and inherited trauma is affecting your experience of being visible,
  • to embodiment of a new form of visibility.

There are currently four leadership development programs across stages 1, 2 and 3. You'll find excerpts below from a few of the lessons inside the digital programs.

Sample lessons!

Wondering what the lessons are like inside Women Speaking Up?

Below are excerpts from lessons inside three of the four leadership development programs you'll gain access to when you enrol as a student with us.

Sample lesson from stage 1 program 'Your Visibility Personality'

Your Visibility Personality is a digital program that dives into the enneagram (an ancient personality typing system). It'll help you understand more about the ways you shine and hide and clear out any resistance to being visible in your own unique way. Here's a taster from one of the lessons in the program.

Sample lesson from stage 2 program 'A Visible Woman'

A Visible Woman explores the negative impact the patriarchy has on the way women perceive themselves and show up in the world. This program is particularly helpful for students who’ve experienced confidence issues, imposter syndrome, or felt invisible or ignored. Here's an excerpt from a class inside the program.

Sample lesson from stage 3 program 'Embracing the Feminine'

Embracing the Feminine is one of the personal development programs in stage 3 of the curriculum. It explores the ways that leadership has been defined by the masculine. You'll learn to unravel unhealthy masculine values and release conditioning that diminishes ‘feminine’ or ‘soft’ traits and values like collaboration, intuitive wisdom, bodily knowing, surrender, and allowing.

Directly below is an excerpt from one of the lessons in Embracing the Feminine.

NB: The other program you'll gain access to at this stage is Break the Chains. This is an investigation into race, culture, and ancestry and other intergenerational influences affecting the capacity to speak up and claim space in the world.

Results you can expect from the leadership development programs

As you work through each stage of visibility you'll realise greater levels of ease, confidence, clarity and focus when it comes to being visible in the world.

You'll stop taking action because a strategy or tactic worked for someone else and instead, take action because it aligns with your purpose and natural way of being visible in the world.

As you move through the stages, you'll start to unashamedly step forward as a model of new ways of thinking and being in the world. In so doing, you'll become a source of inspiration for others in your community to do the same.

Step 3: The business development stream

Business development

The business development programs in stages 1, 2 and 3 of the WSU curriculum are designed to support you in developing and implementing a visibility strategy.

Sample lessons!

Below are excerpts from lessons inside three of the seven business development programs you'll gain access to when you enrol as a student with us.

Sample lesson from stage 1 program 'Your Online Platform'

In stage 1 there are three programs that will assist you with clarifying all of the foundational components associated with connecting with the people you're trying to reach. They are:

  • Your Visibility Vision and Strategy which covers all the basics when it comes to developing a visibility strategy for your business, NGO, or in your career.
  • Your People, Brand, and Message dives into core questions all business owners must be able to answer regarding who you're speaking to, what you want to communicate, and the message you want to share.
  • Your Online Platform explores some of the core digital platforms you might opt for when building a business, organisation or personal online presence.

Here's an excerpt lesson from stage 1 program 'Your Online Platform'.

Sample lesson from stage 2 program 'Spreading the Word'

In stage 2 of the Women Speaking Up curriculum, you have the opportunity to work through three more business development programs. They are:

Spreading the Word builds on the stage 1 program Your Online Platform and explores how to spread the word about a business and expand its reach. You'll explore organic and paid options for reaching more people online in a way that’s aligned to your message and visibility personality.

Your Strategy Kit provides you with the resources and processes you need to finalise your visibility strategy, ready for implementation!

Build New Habits walks you through the process of establishing visibility and personal development habits.

Here's an excerpt lesson from stage 2 program 'Spreading the Word'.

Sample lesson from stage 3 program 'Systems and Scaling'

In stage 3 of the curriculum, there's one business development program to focus on; Systems and Scaling.

This program focuses on the core systems you need to keep expanding your reach and building your influence. You'll learn to incorporate those systems into your business and clear out the social conditioning that sees so many women feeling uninspired and resistant to developing systems inside their business.

Here's an excerpt from the lesson 'Identifying Data to Track' inside the program Systems and Scaling.

Results you can expect

After you've worked through the business development programs in stages 1, 2 and 3 of the curriculum, you'll have created a complete visibility strategy that's both integrated into your business operations and which you're implementing with confidence and clarity.

As a result, you'll be growing your community on virtual autopilot. You'll have freed up more time as you step off the content creation hamster wheel and allow your systems to be visible for you much of the time. You'll be attracting more of the right people and your launches will be much easier and convert better.

Step 4: Live workshops and events

Live workshops and events

As a WSU student, you'll have access to a whole raft of live events including content creation workshops, implementation workshops, visibility block clearing workshops, masterclasses, peer to peer circle meetings, visibility challenges, and office hours.

All workshops, masterclasses and circle meetings run for 2 hours and are hosted every 2 weeks throughout the year. Visibility Challenges run 4 times a year and take place over the course of a week. Office hours are hosted by Samantha every two weeks and run between 60 and 90 minutes.

NB: To prepare you to get the most from these workshops, you'll also gain access to circle training to support you to feel comfortable and at ease working in a group coaching setting.

Sample live workshop

Wondering what the live workshops are like? They're a lovely, fluid mix of coaching and mentoring, business masterminding, and leadership development work.

We always meet via Zoom and you'll find the details about when the calls are held in the FAQ section of this page. Here's a sample of guided visualisation convened during one of our WSU workshops.

Step 5: More supportive resources

To complement the digital resources we've covered above, you'll gain access to a whole raft of talking tools (short, 5-10 minute personal development tools to support you in speaking up and being seen and heard in the world). You'll also be invited to join our online forum the WSU Campus which we is a safe, welcoming and inclusive space.

Here's the kind of encouragement and support you can expect from your fellow students.

Kim, Canada

Welcome! I was in a similar place when I joined - freaked out - but I can honestly say it's been a wonderful place to be seen, heard and learn to express myself. It's a safe & sacred space that Samantha has created for us.

Anna, Australia

Thank you for your supportive and affirming comments. I find such an embrace from this community. It gives me the courage to journey forward. xxx
